Data Series 138: Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma Aeromagnetic Anomaly Maps—High Resolution
About USGS /  Science Topics /  Maps, Products & Publications /  Education / FAQ

These individual aeromagnetic residual anomaly grid/maps were generated using the most representative grid interval for the flight-line spacing of the surveys, and each is presented at the original flight altitude for that survey. They were all then regridded to the 1,000 m interval used in each State compilation.

Select an aeromagnetic map from the list below. All maps are displayed with an illumination from the northeast. The images were generated with a resolution to fit the screen and not with regard to original grid interval. Grids for these maps can be acquired from the data directory. For a full description of survey specifications see page Get Survey Info.

Joplin, Kansas, survey (KS08) gridded at 200 m.

Wichita Mountains, Oklahoma, survey (0116) gridded at 200 m.
