Video is captured from videotape using standard video editing software and converted to AVI format. YuriSoft sub-frames the video capturing every 10 -20 frame depending on user needs. The software then matches one frame to the next based on pattern recognition resulting in a video strip or mosaic. The resulting mosaic is then co-registered using GIS software and DGPS coordinates recorded at the time of the video collection.
