U.S. Geological Survey Data Series 590
FACS logs are standardized forms used by the USGS CMGP. For more information see http://walrus.wr.usgs.gov/infobank/programs/html/main/facs.html. Click on the links below to access PDF files containing the FACS crew, equipment, operation, and overview logs. Digital FACS logs were generated after the cruise, by A. Forde, using the handwritten logbooks and personal accounts of the crew members. Handwritten FACS logs were completed in the field by D. Wiese. All logs can be found within the logbooks folder. Single-beam and swath bathymetry systems were also used during these cruises and are referenced in the subsequent FACS logs; however, that dataset is archived separately.
