U.S. Geological Survey Data Series 661

Data

This database was created using ArcGIS 9.3.1 personal geodatabase format and consists of feature datasets containing volcano hazards map feature classes for each of the six geographic areas depicted on Plate 1 of U.S. Geological Survey Bulletin 1847. ArcGIS-compatible GIS software is therefore required to use the files of this database. The geodatabase is stored in a single zipped folder in this release for ease of transfer. The scale of the source maps limits the spatial resolution of the database to 1:500,000 scale or less detailed. Available ArcGIS feature classes, organized by feature datasets corresponding to geographic areas depicted on Plate 1, are described below:
