ArcGIS Project Read-Me for Data Series ###

The map documents and shapefiles used to create the maps provided on this disc can be found in the arc subfolder of the software folder located at the top level of the disc.  The map documents were created with Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) ArcGIS version 9.3.1. Shapefiles may also be viewed with other versions of ArcView, ArcGIS, or the free ArcExplorer (http://www.esri.com/software/arcexplorer/index.html).

The is the file listing for the ArcGIS project 07CCT01_dataseries.mxd, divided into three group layers; GeoTIFFs, Grid, Tracklines, and Shoreline.  Metadata are available as HTML documents (viewable with any Web browser).

ArcMap Project Name: 07CCT01_dataseries.mxd

	The group layer GeoTIFF file names are the following:
		rm07CCT01_50m
		rm07CCT01_raster2point
		07CCT01_contour_polygons.shp is the polygon layer without color defined contours
		07CCT01_contour_polygons.lyr is the above polygon set to unique color contour intervals.
	
	The group layer Trackline file name is the following:
		07CCT01_hy_tracklines


	The group layer shoreline file names is the following:
		2007_shoreline


The list below describes the contents of the Data Products folder located within the html folder.  This folder is further divided into subfolders for the single-beam bathymetry.

The SingleBeam folder contains the following subfolders and data files:
	Subfolder = GeoTIFF
		File = rm07CCT01_50m is the single-beam bathymetric x,y,z grid as a GeoTIFF file at 50-m resolution.
	
	Subfolder = Grid_as_raster2ascii
		File = 07CCT01_50m_raster2ascii.txt is the 50-m single-beam bathymetric grid rm07CCT01_50m in ascii format.
				
	Subfolder = Grid_as_raster2point
		File = 07CCT01_50m_raster2point.shp is a shapefile of the 50-m single-beam bathymetric grid rm07CCT01_50m in point format.

	Subfolder = Trackline		
		File = 07CCT01_hy_tracklines is a shapefile of the single-beam tracklines.
		File = 07CCT01_hy_trackline.tif is a TIFF file of the single-beam tracklines in map format.
