"Microbiology and Public Beach Safety: Integrated Science for the Protection of Public Health" is a 2-page introduction to the U.S. Geological Survey Florida Integrated Science Center's program to perform sampling for microbial indicators and pathogens in coastal waters and in the sands and sediments from nearshore sites at public beaches.
