DATABASE STRUCTURE--This USGS MF map series consists of 17 coverages. The coverage "wsbnd" consists of a single
polygon coverage and represents the Humboldt River watershed boundary. There are 16 addtional coverages.
The three elements scandium, colbalt, and silver are comprised of two separate datasets each;
one each for the Winnemucca Surprise and Humboldt River basin datasets. All other elements
consist of one coverage for the combined Winnemucca Surprise and Humboldt River basin datasets. Other than
the standard point coverage attributes, the attribute items for the datasets are as follows. Note that the
Winnemucca Surprise shape files have a "WS_element symbol" prefix, the Humboldt River basin datasets have a
"hrb_element symbol" and the combined datasets have a "log_element symbol"
prefix.

LAB_NO = External Laboratory number used by outside U.S. Geological Survey Lab
NURE_ID = National uranium resource evaluation reference number
PRIME_ID = Equivalent to NURE_ID above
SECND_ID = U.S. Geological Survey equivalent laboratory reference number that is cross referenced with a previous analytical job number
LAT = Latitude in decimal degrees
LONG = Longitude in decimal degrees
TYPE = Sample media type, only reported when available and coded as follows: 50 Stream sediment -100 mesh, 59 Soil -100 mesh, 61 Stream sediment -100 mesh, 101 USGS collected stream sediment -80 mesh, 102 USGS prepared stream sediment -80 mesh
JOB_NO = U.S. Geological Survey Job number
Element symbol_PPM_* = The concentration of an element measured in parts-per-million (ppm). Note that iron is reported in percent.
LOG_Element symbol_* = The logarithmic value (in parts per million) of the element concentration value. Note that iron is reported in percent.
