This report describes the contents of a digital data set (approximately 14 MB) which consists of Arc/Info Export format files and associated macro programs. A page-sized, color version of the digital map are included in the report. The data set also includes macro programs and complete plot files for creating paper copies of the maps at a scale of 1:2,000,000. The data set is available on the World Wide Web at http://wrgis.wr.usgs.gov/docs/northwest_region/ofr95-683.html. It is also available via anonymous FTP from: wrgis.wr.usgs.gov, in the directory: pub/northwest_region/geology/ofr95-683. Requirements: A networked computer system is required to copy the data set from the host computer across the Internet. A geographic information system (GIS) capable of importing Arc/Info Export format files is required for access to the digital files. All plot files are stored in HPGL2 format. The digital data set files are in UNIX ASCII format.
