U.S. Geological Survey open-file report 96-279 was produced at the request of Robert L. Davis of the Small Business Administration (SBA). This simple black and white map will be used in upcoming publications by the SBA and was produced specifically for 8.5 x 11 inch publications. This map shows coal resource regions as defined by geologic parameters, not demographic units.
