Johnson, B. R. and Derkey, P. D., 1998, Digital geologic map of the Spokane 1:100,000 quadrangle, Washington and Idaho: a digital database for the 1990 N. L. Joseph map: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 98-115, 13 p. This report describes the contents of a digital data set (approximately 1.7 MB) which consists of Arc/Info Export format files and associated macro programs. A page-sized, color version of the digital geologic map is included in the report. The data set also includes macro programs and complete plot files for creating a paper copy of the map at a scale of 1:100,000. The data set is available on the World Wide Web at http://wrgis.wr.usgs.gov/open-file/of98-115/. It is also available via anonymous FTP from: wrgis.wr.usgs.gov, in the directory: pub/open-file/of98-115/. Requirements: A networked computer system is required to copy the data set from the host computer across the Internet. A geographic information system (GIS) capable of importing Arc/Info Export format files is required for access to the digital files. All plot files are stored in HPGL2 format. The digital data set files are in UNIX ASCII format.
