The Navigation Data

The navigation for the individual cruises are archived in simple ASCII format. Data fields are separated by spaces. The order of the data fields are as follows:

• latitude - signed decimal degrees with south latitude recorded as negative
• longitude - signed decimal degrees with west longitude recorded as negative
• year - year of data collection
• month - month of data collection
• day - day of data collection
• hour - hour of data collection
• minute - minute of data collection
• second - second of data collection (integer value from 0-59)
• corrected depth - recorded depth value with Carter's Table correction applied
