SLIDE 67 shows weeksite, a yellow secondary uranium mineral. Weeksite is the principal uranium mineral found in a small ore body exposed in the upper part of the volcaniclastic sandstone in the Yellow Chief mine. Other uranium ores contain mostly beta-uranophane, also yellow in color.
