Get Plots: File Type Explanation

The following directory contains binary HPGL format plot files 
and large raster GIF files for aeroradiometric maps that span the 
state of Alaska.  See the web site for a look at the maps and more 
information.  These plot files will plot on plotters such as the 
HP750.  The resulting maps are about 2 ft x 3 ft. 
The maps are at 1:2,500,000 scale.

In addition, a set of page-sized maps are included in the Adobe
Acrobat PDF format.

These plot files have been compressed using the "gzip" public-domain
utility.  Before plotting these files you will need to uncompress them.
