This compilation was assembled to give federal land >managers a preliminary view of water within sub-basinal areas, and to show possible >relationships to Tertiary age intrusions and areas of hydrothermal alteration. Alteration lake-silver_crc.tif; ruby-crc.tif- Remotely sensed, broad-band spectral data (ER Mapper raster files; see Source Information) representing areas of oxidation and hydrothermal alteration overlayed upon clipped DRG images (clipped from drgcomp.tif). Geotiff image files created in ER Mapper software and in UTM NAD27 Zone 13 projection. Remotes sensing data from Landsat Thematic Mapper data. The quality of the derived potential alteration layer is the same as the three Landsat Thematic Mapper images used to prepare the layer and is listed by the EROS Data Center metadata as very good. DRG base layers drgcomp.tif- Nine DRG's (see Source Information) were imported into ERDAS Imagine, converted from 8bit to 4bit files, and were reprojected to Lambert Conformal Conic projection (cm= -108 degrees; origin= 0; standard parallels = 33 and 45 degrees; spheroid = Clark 1866, datum =NAD27). Images were resampled using bilinear interpolation. All nine DRG's were mosaiced using mosaic tool. After mosaicing, image was reprojected back to UTM, NAD27, Zone 13 projection (all DRG's originally in UTM projection). After reprojection, image was clipped to sizes observed in files drgcomp.tif, lake-silver_crc.tif, and ruby-crc.tif.
