SHOTPOINT NAVIGATION DATA

Home | Read Me | Cruise Activity | Navigation Data | Seismic Data | USGS Software | Seismic Unix | Disclaimer

The shotpoint navigation provided here is the 500 shotpoint interval files that were extracted from the SEG-Y headers by Seismic Unix (SU) scripts, and reformatted with year and Julian Day added into each record. These files were used along with the edited navigation to generate the trackline maps in ArcView 3.2. These files are stored in ASCII format, beginning with an s and ending with a .TXT extension. (scres1.TXT) Each file represents a separate trackline, which contains six fields separated by tabs. Links to the 500 shotpoint interval files are provided below or you can locate the ASCII files in the SHOTNAV subfolder of the NAV folder at the top level of this CD-ROM.
