geologic map of Mexico
Version 1.0
Published 2004
This publication contains reduced 40Ar/39Ar geochronology data of 39 rocks (47 analyses) collected by geologists from Consejo de Recursos Minerales (CRM) in various areas in Mexico. These analyses were done under Annex 2 of the Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the CRM. This is the second report produced under this Annex; the first report was published in 2003 (Iriondo and others, 2003). This report is primarily a detailed source document for subsequent scientific publications and maps that will integrate this data into a geological context.
