Open-File Report 2006-1373

High-resolution boomer seismic-reflection profiles of the shelf off southern California from cruise A-1-00-SC: Santa Monica Bay to San Diego

Data Processing And Display

Data processing consisted of merging lines, editing for system shutdowns and correcting recording delay statistics. Profiles were loaded into an interactive seismic interpretation system for interpretation and to troubleshoot minor navigation errors.

All data (including recovered files) were filtered using a high-pass filter and desampled to a 125 microsecond sample rate. A 30 millisecond Automatic Gain Control window was applied for display purposes. The profiles were then displayed as black and white variable-density plots and exported in PDF and JPEG format.
