Data
These digital GIS layers were compiled with ArcInfo software. The files are volcano hazard map data available as ArcInfo coverages and shapefiles. ArcInfo-compatible GIS software is required to use the files. The files are stored in a single zipped folder (mthood_coverages.zip or mthood_shapefiles.zip) in this release for ease of transfer. The scale of the source map limits the spatial resolution (scale) of the files to 1:100,000 or smaller. Available ArcInfo coverages and shapefiles are described below:

ArcInfo coverage or shapefile
mthhaz Proximal and Distal Volcano Hazard Zones (lines, polygons)
mtharr Estimated travel time for lahars(points)

Download mthood_coverages.zip containing the digital files.

Download mthood_shapefiles.zip containing the digital files.

Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) metadata are available for the digital files in text format.
