Appendix 1: Programming the Intervalometer

Skip past contents information

The eight individual switch (sw) settings on the timer block are set in units of hours (hrs.) and must be moved upwards to the “on” position to program the desired time interval at which discs will be dropped from the Intervalometer.

sw1= 4 hrs.
sw2= 8 hrs.
sw3=16 hrs.
sw4= 32 hrs.
sw5= 64 hrs.
sw6= 128 hrs.
sw7= 256 hrs.
sw8= 512 hrs.

Examples of switch settings are shown below but are not limited to these combinations to allow the user to customize programming intervals. The remaining switches on the mouse block that are not in use should be in the downward or off position.

sw3+sw 2 = 24 hr. = 1 day
sw1+sw3+sw4+sw6 = 180 hr. = 7.5 days
sw3+sw4+sw5+sw6 = 240 hr. = 10 days
