Geologic map of the Estes Park 30’ x 60’ Quadrangle, North-Central Colorado

This database, identified as SIM 3039, has been approved for release and
publication by the Director of the USGS.  Although this database has been 
subjected to rigorous review and is substantially complete, the USGS reserves 
the right to revise the data pursuant to further analysis and review.  Furthermore,
it is released on condition that neither the USGS nor the United 
States Government may be held liable for any damages resulting from its 
authorized or unauthorized use.

The database can be downloaded via the Web from 
http://pubs.usgs.gov/sim/3039/.  ArcInfo export files and ArcView 
shapefiles may be extracted from a gzip-compressed tar file (3039.tar.gz) or zip-
compressed file (3039.zip).  In addition, an Adobe Portable Document Format 
(PDF) file (3039_Map.pdf) can be downloaded, from which paper copies may be 
printed.

The data were compiled from field mapping.  R.R. Shroba, J.M. O’Neill, and
Cal Ruleman all of the U.S. Geological Survey, reviewed the geologic map. 
Geologic names were reviewed by T.W. Judkins of the U.S. Geological Survey.

This geospatial database consists of ArcInfo export files (.e00) and ArcView 
shapefiles contained in a gzipped tar archive or zip archive.  Both compressed 
archive files contain both types of geospatial database files.  See the list 
below.  Please refer to the file 3039.meta.txt for detailed metadata documentation 
for this geospatial database.
