Scientific Investigations Map 3238

This text contains directory file listings of digital data 
on the map titled "Geologic strip map along the Hines Creek 
Fault showing evidence for Cenozoic displacement in the 
western Mount Hayes and northeastern Healy quadrangles, 
eastern Alaska Range, Alaska" by Warren J. Nokleberg, John 
N. Aleinikoff, Thomas K. Bundtzen, and Maiana N. Hanshaw.


Digital Dataset Files:

Hines_Creek_Fault_Map_GDB_metadata.txt -- FGDC compliant 
metadata.

sim3238_data.zip -- GIS data package that contains:

     copies of the readme and metadata listed above

     Hines_Creek_Fault_Map_K4w.mxd -- ArcMap GIS file for 
     map.

     hinescreek_gdb -- folder, files necessary to create an 
     ArcMap Geodatabase project.

          Hines_Creek_Fault_Map_K1.gdb -- Geodatabase for 
          map

          Hines_Creek_Fault_Map.style -- ArcMap styles used 
          for symbolizing data in map

     Topography -- folder with 1:250,000-scale DRG base 
     clipped to 2 miles around the border of the strip map.

sim3238_map.pdf -- Adobe PDF version of map with 
explanation and explanatory materials.

sim3238_pamphlet.pdf  -- Adobe PDF file containing 
information on regional setting, sources of geologic 
mapping, interpretative text on evidence for Cenozoic 
displacement, and description of map units, and references.
