Three-Dimensional Geologic Framework Model for a Karst Aquifer System, Hasty and Western Grove Quadrangles, Northern Arkansas By Kenzie J. Turner, Mark R. Hudson, Kyle E. Murray, and David N. Mott 2007 Scientific Investigations Report 5095 NOTE: This model and accompanying files have been approved for release and publication by the Director of the USGS. Although this database has been subjected to rigorous review and is substantially complete, the USGS reserves the right to revise the data pursuant to further analysis and review. Furthermore, it is released on condition that neither the USGS nor the United States Government may be held liable for any damages resulting from its authorized or unauthorized use. The database can be downloaded from the USGS server on URL http://pubs.usgs.gov/sir/2007/5095/. Demo viewers are provided for Linux and Windows platforms. Software may be run directly from the Internet but best performance is achieved by copying files to the local system. To run the program, run the executable file "evviewer.exe". Upon starting of the program a menu will appear allowing for file selection. The Menu must be navigated to the folders containing the appropriate files. To move to a folder higher up in the hierarchy double-click the path ending with "/.." in the left column. Double-click the desired folder in the left column to enter that directory. When readable files are available they will appear in the right column. To select the desired file click once to the left of the file name at which point an asterisks will appear adjacent to the file name identifying it as selected. Then click "no more selections" at the bottom of the menu. System configuration requirements and many other common 3D viewer operations are described in QuickHelp.pdf. More advanced capabilities are described in the file 3Dviewer.pdf.
