Use of Acoustic Backscatter and Vertical Velocity to Estimate Concentration and Dynamics of Suspended Solids in Upper Klamath Lake, South-Central Oregon: Implications for Aphanizomenon flos-aquae

[Locations of ADCP sites are shown in figure 1. Vertical velocities and horizontal current speeds were averaged over the top one-half (top one-third at ADCP1) of the water column. Air temperature was measured at site WMR-MET. Time series were filtered to pass periods between 1.2 and 15 days. Correlation coefficients greater than 0.25 are significant and indicated by boldface type (p < 0.05)]
