LOCATION.-- Lat 41°27'40", long 90°30'00" in sec. 16 (NAD of 1927), T. 17 N.,R.1 W., Rock Island County, Hydrologic Unit 07090005, at bridge on U.S. Highway 150, 2 mi southeast of Moline, 3 mi upstream from Mill Creek and 7 mi upstream from the mouth. Gage is in pool of resevoir.

DRAINAGE AREA.-- 10,800 mi².

GAGE.-- Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage 551.34 feet above NGVD of 1929 (levels by Corps of Engineers) (551.11 ft NAVD 1988).

REMARKS.-- Daily figures are computed flows based on summation of ungaged flow and records for stations at Joslin, Green River near Geneseo and Illinois-Mississippi Canal, and adjusted for change in channel storage above station. Ungaged flow computed on basis of drainage area of 270 mi² and unit run-off indicated by records for Mill Creek at Milan.
