The USGS Identifier provided in these templates is the only version allowed. It consists of the trademarked identifier in white on a black background; it is 178x72 pixels in size, and is provided in JPEG format. The size and color are not permitted to change, and it must be applied to every web page. Use of these templates will automatically ensure that the identifier is applied correctly.
