This Web site includes downloadable GIS files for the Generalized Geologic Map of the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, which has been released as part of the National Atlas (http://nationalatlas.gov/natlas/Natlasstart.asp). A browse graphic for the entire map is provided, as well as a map legend. However, files for the conterminous United States are located in one subdirectory, and files for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands are located in a second subdirectory (see links to the right).
