Outcrop is along U.S. Route 340, northeast of Sandy Hook, Md., near the garnet graphite gneiss (Yp) (pl. 1). Specular flakes of graphite in this plutonic rock suggest that it assimilated the paragneiss. Lens cover is 5 cm in diameter.
