RESULTS OF THE ASSESSMENT

        
TECHNICALLY RECOVERABLE CONVENTIONAL RESOURCES


     Approximately four hundred sixty conventional plays were defined 
for the 1995 National Assessment, of which 373 were assessed. Of these
assessed plays, 290 were confirmed plays and 83 were hypothetical
plays.
