The Heywood No.1 Jules Clement well in the Jennings field, Acadia Co., Jennings, Louisiana.  This well was the first successfully completed Louisiana oil well.  It was drilled to a total depth of 1,700 ft in September 1901, and produced oil from Miocene rocks.
