LIGHTS AT NIGHT

This grid theme shows the nighttime 
intensity of light in the Circum-Pacific 
region.  Red areas are the most densely 
lit, blue areas are hardly lit, and black
areas are not measurably lit.  Notice the 
lights off the west coast of Japan, which 
are from squid-fishing operations!
