The XML file contains the metadata describing the data set .sid.xml. UTM ZONE 11 folder UTM ZONE 12 folder Folders contain FGDC compliant metadata files for individual georeferenced raster images of the specified coordinate system available in frequently asked questions style (FAQ). ------------------------ Contents of the ORIGINAL subdirectory: Digital images of the original, un-cropped maps in MrSID compressed format and PDF documents of pamphlets accompanying original maps that are not available on-line. The PDF, NR_map_units.pdf, contains the map unit descriptions and symbology for each image derived from the original map publications in a searchable text format. ------------------------ Contents of the SOFTWARE subdirectory: (DVDs only; for online users, go to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html ) Acrobat folder - Installers for Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0.5, 5.1 and 6.0 for both Windows (PC directory) and Macintosh (Mac directory). The installers are provided on this disc, or can be downloaded as the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, free, via the Internet from the Adobe homepage on the World-Wide Web at http://www.adobe.com/.
