The "Digital atlas of the upper Washita River basin, southwestern Oklahoma”, contains 8.5 gigabytes of data. Two DVDs have been used to store these data. Data stored on the 2 DVDs should be copied to local disc before use.

 

Install instructions:

 

1. Create a local folder called “WASHITA” on local disc drive.

2. Select all files and folders on DVD disc 1 and copy them to the newly created “WASHITA” folder.

3. Select all copied files and folders.  From the “File pulldown menu”, select “properties” and uncheck the “read-only” checkbox and click the “ok” tab. Under the “Confirm attribute changes” window, select the “apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files” radio button.
 

4. From DVD disc 2, copy the “GISDATA” folder into the "WASHITA” folder.

5. From DVD disc 2, copy the “c_9” folder into the “WASHITA\WASHITA.idb” folder.

6. Select the copied “c_9” folder. From the “File pulldown menu”, select “properties” and uncheck the “read-only” checkbox and click the “ok” tab.  Under the “Confirm attribute changes” window, select the “apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files” radio button.

7. Read the file “A_README.doc”.
