Abstract:
This spatial layer consists of county boundaries for Beckham, Caddo, Canadian, Comanche, Custer, Dewey, Grady, Kiowa, and Washita Counties in southwestern Oklahoma. The county boundaries were originally derived from the U.S. Geological Survey 1:100,000-scale Digital Line Graphs.
Purpose:
To provide county boundary information for users working in the upper Washita River basin in southwestern Oklahoma.

The nine counties that contain the upper Washita River basin were selected from the spatial layer containing Oklahoma county boundaries in ArcMap. A shapefile was created, imported into the geodatabase, and metadata written.
