Abstract:

This raster spatial layer is a 30-meter shaded relief derivative of the 'Filled_Dem' Digital Elevation Model layer for the upper Washita River basin in southwestern Oklahoma. It is a hypothetical illuminated surface based on an altitude of 45 degrees and an azimuth of 315 degrees.

Purpose:

To display and emphasize topographic relief in the upper Washita River basin.

The filled Digital Elevation Model (Filled_Dem) for the upper Washita River basin was processed using the 'HILLSHADE' option in Arc/Info. An altitude of 45 degrees and an azimuth of 315 degrees were used to create the illuminated surface. The data set was imported into the geodatabase and metadata written.
