ArcGIS Project Read-Me The map documents and shapefiles used to create the trackline maps provided on this disc can be found in the 90KI1_91KI2.zip file located in the ARC subfolder of the GIS folder located at the top level of the disc. The map documents were created with ESRI ArcGIS 9.2 software. Shapefiles may also be viewed with other versions of ArcView, ArcGIS, or public domain software ArcExplorer (http://www.esri.com/software/arcexplorer/index.html). The map documents (.mxd) were named 90KI1_91KI2_Study Area, 90KI1_91KI2, 90KI1_Detail, 90KI1_1_Detail, 90KI1_2_Detail, 91KI2_Detail, 91KI2_A_Detail, 91KI2_B_Detail, and 91KI2_C_Detail. Detail maps display trackline navigation, and the inset maps also display points for start of line, start of segment, and annotated navigation shots. The list below describes the shapefiles provided with the ArcGIS project. Metadata are available as XML documents (used by ArcCatalog). 90KI1 and 91KI2_FIRST: point layer of the start of 90KI1 and 91KI2 tracklines. 90KI1 and 91KI2_LINES: line layer of 90KI1 and 91KI2 tracklines. 90KI1 and 91KI2_POINTS: point layer of 90KI1 and 91KI2 annotated navigation shots. 90KI1 and 91KI2_SEGMENT: point layer of the start of 90KI1 and 91KI2 trackline segments.
