The locations of tribal headquarters contained in this dataset is accurate only to the nearest town or city.
The physical addresses of tribal headquarters were converted to decimal degrees latitude/longitude coordinates. If a physical address was not available, then the location of the city or town hall was converted to decimal degrees latitude/longitude coordinates. The tabular information for the tribal headquarters and the latitude/longitude locations were exported as a shapefile. This dataset is to be used only as a general reference to the location of tribal headquarters and not to be used for local data analysis.
