This directory contains two sets of geochemistry data. The data are contained in two directories:

Data/Geochemistry/NURE-sediments - Geochemistry data from the National Uranium Resource Evaluation (NURE) program. The original data are available at:

Data/Geochemistry/PebbleArea - Geochemistry data on samples collected from 2007 to 2010. These data are in an ESRI File Geodatabase and have been imported from the Geochemical Relational Database also provided in this Data Series. For the purpose of displaying the geochemistry data in the GIS, lookup tables have been created. These tables are located and described as follows:

WaterConversion.dbf - A .dbf 'Database' file that contains information on water samples and analytical results. Such information includes: sample ID, source code, and analytical results converted to parts per million (ppm), parts per billion (ppb), or parts per trillion (ppt). Source code is a whole number that indicates water sample origin where 1=pond, 2=spring/seep, 3=stream, 4=drillhole.

WaterField.dbf - A .dbf 'Database' file that contains information on water sample ID and source code. The source code is a whole number that indicates water sample origin where 1=pond, 2=spring/seep, 3=stream, 4=drillhole.

WaterLab.dbf - A .dbf 'Database' file that contains information on water sample ID and source code. The source code is a whole number that indicates water sample origin where 1=pond, 2=spring/seep, 3=stream, 4=drillhole.
