Field Activity Logs

Field Activity Collection System (FACS) Logs

FACS logs are standardized forms used by the USGS CMGP. For more information see http://walrus.wr.usgs.gov/infobank/programs/html/main/facs.html. Click on the links below to access PDF files containing the FACS crew, equipment, operation, and overview logs. Digital FACS logs were generated after the cruise using the handwritten logbooks and personal accounts of the crew members. Digital FACS logs were generated post-cruise by K. Calderon using the handwritten logs and personal accounts of the crew members. All logs can be found within the logs folder.

Figure 1 displays acquisition geometry for both cruises.

Table 1 is a summary of acquisition parameters for both cruises.

Table 2A is a summary of trackline statistics for activity 96FGS01 lines sb_b2a - sb_b22b.

Table 2B is a summary of trackline statistics for activity 97FGS01 lines sb_a1_a - t1_sb.

Table 3 is a trackline coverage index for activity 97FGS01.

NOTE: There is no trackline coverage index for activity 96FGS01 because all 96FGS01 tracklines are on the Area A map.
