This digital database was compiled in ArcGIS version 10 as a personal geodatabase that contains geologic map feature classes for the two printed map sheets (Sheet 1 and Sheet 2) from the Geologic Map of Newberry Volcano, Deschutes, Klamath, and Lake Counties, Oregon; U.S. Geological Survey Miscellaneous Investigations Series Map I-2455. ArcGIS-compatible GIS software is required to use the files of this database. The geodatabase is delivered in a single zipped folder (DS-771.zip) in this release. The scale of the source mapping limits the usable spatial resolution of the database to 1:62,500 scale or less detailed for Sheet 1 and 1:24,000 scale or less detailed for Sheet 2. Available ArcGIS feature classes, included within the geodatabase are organized as feature datasets for Sheet 1 and Sheet 2, are described below:
