In the second paragraph of this section on p. 3, a new first sentence was added-Ongoing improvements to the sensor networks and data processing centers allowed the ShakeAlert system to advance from a "demonstration" to a "production prototype" phase in February 2016, allowing selected users to develop pilot implementations that take protective actions. A color glitch was removed from the opening ShakeAlert figure on p. 1. On the West Coast map on p. 2, the color panel below "Earthquake Hazard Levels" was relabeled: instead of 0-10, 10-20, and so on, which previously appeared below each colored box, the borders between boxes are labeled as 0, 10, 20, and so on. A full copyedit was done on the updated fact sheet, and corrections for grammar, punctuation, and consistent terminology were also applied. ----------------------------------------------------- Revised and reposted February 2017, version 1.2 Contact changed to Robert de Groot.
