EXPLANATION OF FILES:

i2722.pdf   - is a graphic plotfile of the geologic map, as published, 
	    in Adobe Acrobat .pdf format.  It will produce a plot that
	    faithfully replicates the format, symbols, colors, and 
	    linework of the printed map. File size is 7.7 MB, pagesize
	    is 58" x 42" at 100%. Plot resolution, quality and colors
	    will vary with plotter, inks, and paper used.  This work 
	    was compiled by Linda M. Masonic of the USGS Publications 
            Group.

readme2.txt - this file describes each file in the two compressed volumes.


proj_dd.zip:  This compressed volume contains the data files which are
                  geographically projected.
proj_utm.zip: This compressed volume contains the data files which are 
		  projected in UTM, zone 15, meters, and has NAD83
		  datum.
	           

metadata.txt:  This file contains the metadata (explanation of the data).
