This version was created to provide digital data in the form of shapefiles for the data in appendixes A, B, and C. The 
data files in each ZIP file represent the information presented in appendixes A, B, and C.

The digital data were originally uploaded to the National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/docucomp/page?xml=NOAA/NESDIS/NGDC/MGG/Geology/iso/xml/G01019.xml&view=getDataView&header=none) in 1991. The files were reformatted to make them easier to input into geographic information system (GIS) software and 
converted to shapefiles. Discrepancies were noted between the original tabulated data and the digital data, including missing 
data entries and mistakes between values in the original report and what the data posted by the NGDC.  

For a complete description of these files, the errors and inconsistencies between tabulated and digital versions of the data, 
the work done on the files, and an explanation of files contained in the zip file, read the metadata provided in each zip file.
