                 SHOT POINT / CDP LOCATION DATA

     Shot point and CDP location data are given in .SPT and .CDP
ASCII text files in the LOC subdirectory. Shown below is the
location data available for the seismic data on this disc:

                   LOCATION DATA RECORD FORMAT

     All .SPT and .CDP files have the same record format:

<line id>   <shot point or CDP>   <UTM x>   <UTM y>   <longitude>
<latitude>

where

     <line id> is the seismic line identification.
     <shot point or CDP> is the point to be located.
     <UTM x> is the x coordinate UTM value.
     <UTM y> is the y coordinate UTM value.
     <longitude> is the longitude in decimal degrees to 6 places
     precision.
     <latitude> is the latitude in decimal degrees to 6 places
     precision.

     Each field in the record is separated from the next by at
least 1 blank.
