	report.txt		ASCII version of the report

	samples.txt		Table listing sample characteristics.  The
				file contains USGS sample numbers, sample
				position data, and inferred and
				interpolated age estimates for each
				sample.  The sample position data
				comprises core and section numbers,
				position of the top and bottom of each
				sample in the section, and the calculated
				depths (DSDP depth and midpoint depth).
				The DSDP depth is calculated based on the
				top of each sample interval and the
				midpoint depth is based on the midpoint of
				each sample interval.  The midpoint
				interval is the value used Fleming (1992).
				Age estimates listed in italics are based
				on Barron (1992 and personal communication).
				Age estimates that are not italicized are
				interpolated from the italicized values.

Core/raw/
	count.txt		Table giving numbers of specimens of the
				species listed for each sample.  Species
				that were observed in the sample but were
				not encountered in the counts are listed
				as "trace."   For samples that were too
				sparse for counts, species that are
				present are so listed.

	percent.txt		Table giving the calculated percentages
				for pollen taxa in each sample.

Derived/
	of92-712.sea.eps	Original files created by the author.
				These are for the Macintosh, and are
				enclosed in a self-extracting archive
				encoded as ASCII using BinHex 4.0.
