Members of the Human-Induced Land Transformations (HILT) team have produced an animation showing the growth of urbanization in the SanSac region from 
<a href = "graphics/1850.tiff"> 1850 </a>
to 
<a href = "graphics/1990.tiff"> 1990</a>.
The animation is based on the delineation of urban development from historical maps from the USGS archives and other sources, and on more recent Landsat data.
