3.5 kHz SEISMIC DATA
Because of the limited amount of processing possible for 3.5 kHz seismic
data, our 3.5 kHz profiles were not digitized and thus are not available
electronically. The following three scanned images of profile segments are
provided as examples of the data. In each case, the depth scales and
vertical exaggeration (VE) are approximate, based on a sound velocity of
1500 m/sec.
- Line 7, 1990. Middle portion of a segment of a
dip line on the slope of the Selenga Delta. Core site 305 is also shown.
- Line 4, 1990. Crest of Academic Ridge; note high
vertical exaggeration. Core site 307 is located on this line at the crest,
the uppermost part of which is not shown.
- Line 3, 1990. Erosional channel on the floor of
the southern end of the North Basin.
