Derkey, P. D., Johnson, B. R. and Carver, Michael, 1996, Digital geologic map of the Coeur d'Alene district, Idaho and Montana: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 96- 299, 8 p. plus 2 plates. This report describes the contents of a digital dataset (approximately 2 MB) which consists of ARC/INFO Export format files and associated macro programs. The dataset includes a geologic map of the Coeur d'Alene district, Idaho and Montana that was digitized at a scale of 1:62,500. The dataset also includes macro programs and complete plot files for creating paper copies of the map. A page-sized, color version of the map is included in this report as well as a description of how to obtain the dataset over the Internet. Requirements: A networked computer system is required to copy the dataset from the host computer across the Internet. A Geographic Information System capable of importing ARC/INFO Export format files is required for access to the digital files. All plot files are stored in HPGL2 format. The digital dataset files are in UNIX ASCII format.
