This map was created and published before the USGS map requirements for
metadata, browse graphic, and GIS database files. The map was created in
GSMAP software. To look at and use the map files, you will need to download
a free Windows-based version of GSMAP, now called GSMCAD, which is available
at URL http://cpg.cr.usgs.gov/pub/software.html
Also included with the GSMAP files is a MicroSoft Word file that has complete
text descriptions of the geologic map units, description of the structural
and depositional history in the map area, and references. |
