Introduction

The program IMGVIEW is a simple program for viewing image data with options for plotting vector and text information on the images. This program allows the user to display any one of a number of images of data for the conterminous United States and to plot selected vector and text data on the images. IMGVIEW is designed to be compatible with the data published by Phillips, Duval, and Ambroziak (1993).

This program designed to run under Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and in order to successfully install IMGVIEW, you need to be familiar with the Windows operating system for personal computers. Originally produced on a floppy disk, this open-file report is being presented online as a compressed volume consisting of executables and a readme file.
