Data processing information: 

The contractor's "adjusted data files" on magnetic tape were processed to
make this data file.  The original contractor data consists of four data 
values per record: adjusted total field (units of 0.5 gamma), observed total 
field (units of 0.5 gamma), UTM Easting (meters), UTM Northing (meters).  
Sections 1-3 are in UTM zone 5 (central meridian -153); sections 4-6 are in 
UTM zone 6 (cm -147).  Incomplete records were skipped in processing.

The file 3019.DAT contains all the data with positions converted to
latitude and longitude.  Inverse projection of the UTM coordinates was done
with Mike Webring's xyzprjrec program using standard USGS projection routines.
